The passion for architecture and computer graphics took Gianpiero to look for new ways to represent through images designers and architects’ ideas. After some work experiences in Italy, in 2007 he started working as Project Lead Artist for the well-known English Studio Hayes Davidson. There, he created images for Renzo Piano Building Workshop, Kohn Pedersen Fox, John Pawson, David Chipperfield, Hamiltons Architects and West8. In 2009, together with Roberto and Manuela, he set up State of Art and became Managing Director.

Gianpiero is V-Ray Professional User since 2005 and V-Ray Licensed Instructor since 2012. He is now working on the research and development to implement educational courses on Virtual Reality at SoA Academy.



Roberto’s passion for graphics shaped his personal education and led him to become Web Designer and then 3D Artist. In his work experience, he moved on working in the Computer Graphics for Architecture. Together with Gianpiero and Manuela, in 2009 he set up State of Art.

Roberto is now working at State of Art Academy as a teachers specialized in the use of Adobe Photoshop, which recognized him as a certified expert.



After graduating in Environmental Architecture in Milan, Giona worked as 3D Artist in some of the most important Studios in Milan such as ARUP, David Chipperfield Architects, Scandurra Studio and Studio Carlotta de Bevilacqua. His images clearly show his passion for photography thanks to the attention to composition and lighting, which go beyond the simple architectural representation. Giona is one of the teachers at SoA Academy specialised in post-production for the Architectural Visualization.



Graduated in Civil and Environmental Engineering in Ferrara. His passion for 3D graphics started in 2008 in high school.
His great passion for photography helps him pay attention to the details of the real world and to replicate them in his works.
Enrico joined State of Art in 2018 after attentding the ArchViz Masterclass #32.



Piero works in a photography Studio in Treviso. Over the years he gained experience in photo shootings by using both digital cameras and traditional cameras with films. He is specialised in the Architectural photography, both of interiors and experiors, and works with everything related to the image advertising, including events and conventions. In the Masterclasses, Piero teaches the photography and composition techniques in the photography workshop.

Peter Guthrie, who is one of the founders of The Boundary Studio in London and an international artist who has collaborated with the most important architects, such as Renzo Piano Building Workshop; Tadao Ando; Tom Phifer & Partners and many others, has chosen the SOA Academy as the location to teach his Lighting Masterclass. The course, which is addressed to professionals who have a good knowledge of 3dsMax and V-Ray, will cover all techniques to correctly light different scenes.

Ronen Bekerman is an Architectural Visualization Artist based in Tel Aviv, Israel. In 2005 Ronen decided to focus on Architectural Visualization and 3D Design Exploration and formed Polytown Studio, producing visuals for a wide range of project types and support in the design process of leading Israeli architecture firms. In 2009, Ronen launched, what has now become, an extremely popular Architectural Visualization Blog offering an invaluable source of information on all aspects of the architectural visualization field.
