Great image called “The evening strollers” from our ex-student Andrew Koniuszko.
Designed by Heffernan Button Voss Architects and commissioned by Hobart Retail, this project is located at 40 Elizabeth St Hobart and is comprised of retail and office spaces. It. The client and architect were very open to the creative direction for the image, which made for an enjoyable and successful process. I sought inspiration from the sometimes sleepy character and often cool climate of Hobart. I like to imagine the couple in the image are out for an early evening stroll, perhaps having come from the nearby wharf full of boats. All the shops have closed however this one has left it’s lights on and attracts them like a beacon, tempting them to momentarily stop and peer in.
Software used: 3DS Max, V-Ray, Adobe Photoshop.
