Well, also this year has reached its end here at SOA Academy. And, as for every end of the year, it’s now time to take stock of the past year.
2015 has been an amazing year that involved the education of many artists and saw the organization of so many activities. Many of our guys are now working in the most important Studios in the world and it’s a pleasure for us to think that a part of SOA Academy stay there.
What we started 5 years ago is now recognized by the whole Industry as a benchmark for the skills that the artists has to master and apply in their job. We don’t have created a strict method to follow to achieve some results because we think that the artists need to know all the aspects of production and why things should be made in a way rather than in another one so that they can be flexible and adapt to every challenge they have to face daily. We are really proud of what SOA Academy is doing and the proof of this is that today the new 2016 Masterclasses are already fully booked till August. So, to satisfy the many requests we are receiving, we have added two new Masterclasses: one in English in September and one in Italian in October 2016. We’d also like to remind you that the registrations for the English Advanced courses planned for next February 2016 are officially open so hurry up and register to take your seat.
We’re also organizing next AcademyDay#7, the event dedicated to the Architectural Visualization promoted every year by SOA Academy. This year, the event had an incredible success: for the second year in a row, it was sold out and for the first time it involved people from 32 countries in the world. An all-time record that make us proud because we feel that the Industry is close to our work. We have received many emails of affection and messages on the social networks from the attendees of the event and this is what gives us the energy to go on making this event something unique. We’re already working on next year edition and we promise that it will be full of novelties, starting from a new venue to host more participants and a new date. So, stay tuned on our channels to know in advance what will happen!
From the training point of view, SOA Academy strongly believe that we are living an exciting time, full of novelties for our Industry. All this needs our attention to bring to the fore topics that can enlarge the vision of the future of our students. For these reasons, thanks to the collaboration with the best artists in our Industry, also in 2016, SOA Academy will promote specific courses like the one organized with the great Peter Guthrie. We see these courses as a way to improve and a further possibility for our ex-students, who have already studied at SOA Academy in the past, but also for new students with specific requests, to explore new topics. We see SOA Academy as a place where we can promote the Culture of Creating Digital contents. This is the reason why, starting from 2016, we’ll open some courses held by the biggest experts on different topics in the architectural visualization. In these courses, we’ll put the same vision, commitment and effectiveness that we already use in our courses.
We want to keep growing through activities during the year and maintain the high quality of what we do. So, SOA Academy is proud to present two new members of our team, who we are sure will give a big contribution to the realization of our projects: Denise Celeghin, SOA Academy course coordinator and Giona Andreani, Arch-Viz Artists, SOA Academy ex-student in the Masterclass#2. Now is time for us for Christmas holidays and we are ready to enjoy every moment with our families and our friends.
We’ll never stop thinking of your affection as well as we will never stop working to make this place, a place where we can share experiences and cultures connected to our fantastic Industry. We’ll be waiting for you here at Academy next year, because 2016 will be extraordinary.
