Great images of an Alpine refuge from our ex-student Chiara Polese.
This is a personal design and visualisation project. It is a sort of reflection on how powerful are the modelling tools we have. I started from a basic idea in my mind, that is how should be my ideal mountain home and what atmosphere it should have. Then this idea has become clearer while I was developing technical details of the building. I decided shapes, materials and lighting and the result are these images. It is amazing the opportunity 3d artists have to transform into images their visions and those of others. This is the reason I started this profession.
Software used: 3DS Max, V-Ray, Forest Pack Pro, Adobe Photoshop.
