The Masterclass#19 was the last one in this amazing 2015.
We couldn’t finish in a better way with a group of incredible guys, who spent all their energies to get the result they had in mind and express their vision on the architecture we had proposed.
The project they have worked on is The Verdant Avenue House from Robert Mills architects: a well-finished architecture that let the students work both on the interiors and on the exteriors and capture the essence of every detail.
The sixth edition of the SOA AcademyDay has just finished and I’m here thinking on what has been done. I’ve spend the entire afternoon reading and answering to all the messages of appreciation and congratulations from the people who attended the event.
As a curator of the event, I tried to combine in one main leading thread the three themes that we wanted to deal with: discovering tecnologies, talents and techniques.
The Masterclass#18 has just finished and it has been a great month with 12 amazing guys from all over the world.
When the Academy is empty and there’s silence, I like watching the guys’ images and finding there the efforts and the beauty that make me really proud.
The guys dealt with particular topics and were able to work on the architecture of the House of Riihi (http://oopeaa.com/project/house-riihi/) in a really personal way.
We have fully restarted our activities after the summer vacation.
The students of the Masterclass#16 are working hard and we’re sure that also this course will give exciting outcomes.
The AcademyDay#6 is already sold out and we’re trying to add some seats more to fulfill the many requests we have received.
We have arrived to the halfway mark of this year.
The first part of this 2015 was great and we worked a lot with our guys.
We have been in contact with amazing people with different cultures. The beauty of this job is also this: to be able to face every month something new and most of the time unknown.
I can affirm, with profound conviction, that over time the guys have made us better people: they let us grow from the human point of view and for us, this is something unbelievable.
